Early one morning ....

A lovely sunrise this morning viewed from my kitchen window just after 7am.  

I'm not usually up so early but L and I were going to Edinburgh and depending on the weather we were either going to visit the National Museum of Scotland or the Botanic Gardens .... a blue sky so we chose the Botanic Gardens. 

After yesterday's terrible weather it was good to have a walk through the lovely gardens.  The extra photo is the early stages of the Salvonian Pasque Flower.
