Another Eagle Pair

These two Eagles are different than the ones I has Blipped before. This nest is in Garibaldi near Tillamook Bay; it has been added to for at least 8 years, they were adding to it again today. You can see the one has a branch in his beak; he has been rearranging as the other one has brought sticks to the nest. They are definitely in the nesting stage of their relationship. They seem to be a pleasant pair who were working well together.You can see a closer look at the nest in the extra....notice they have used a piece of a rope that was likely savaged from a crab trap rope. The other extra you can see the one eagle flying back to the nest. I do enjoy watching the eagles as they build or rebuild their nests.
