Red Rose

Back home after a fabulous holiday In Napier and Gisborne. It was lovely to have the time with my daughter and grandchildren and was so pleased daughter wanted to come on our tours and to serve as our driver on the trip to Gisborne. We managed to cram in an amazing number of activities in the 6 days we spent in Hawke Bay and Poverty Bay. The overall stand out experience  for me has to be visiting the Gannet colony. It is not to be missed if you are ever up that way.

With no blip taken today, I took this shot of a rose at the neighbours after I got home. I would love to be able to offer it to my daughter in thanks for helping Riwaka7 and I  to a range of wonderful experiences while staying with them. Love you Jo.
