A wee bit gardened

Some solomon's seal is poking up in the front of this plot. The trouble is, the snails like when the leaves start to come out and the plants go all stringy looking.

This is also the time of year to keep on top of the asparagus tips that sprout just now - they're mare's tail and a complete pain to try and get out. Also I'm allergic to them. :-(
