'Old Ladies'

I am just keeping an eye on the old orchard at the Royal Infirmary.  The orchard has been surrounded by a building site, as this bit of the hospital grounds has been developed.  As you can see it was impossible to harvest the apples last autumn.  The orchard is now open agin, but has been tidied up too much and has had a wide path driven through it.  I hope the apples trees don't mind too much, I will be keeping an eye on them.
