Redshanks and turnstones

Did parkrun this morning, a bit breezy but the rain had stopped and after lunch went for a walk by the river/sea. The sun came out and it was quite warm, especially when having to walk back against the wind.
The tide was in so all the waders were congregated in a narrow strip and easily seen.
In the Barnhill Rock Garden the aconites were giving a wonderful display (see extra for one of them).
