Amadeus

A relatively productive day, mostly spent at a computer keyboard, although I did get two lots of washing done as well. The highlight, though, was in the evening when I attended a performance by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in Glasgow City Halls (pictured).

Two pieces by Beethoven and two by Mozart; the last and the main piece of the evening being the latter's Coronation Mass, in which the SCO Chorus and the orchestra were both magnificent.

Just a pity, though, that the man sitting next to me decided to tap his foot (almost) in rhythm with the music of the Mozart Mass and that the floor of the concert hall auditorium is wooden. The sound may have been relatively quiet but it was rather distracting. Grr!
