Geese Auditioning for Fiddler on the Roof

The past three years, I have noticed that the Canada Geese that remain here during nesting season have taken to the rooftops. 

Early in the morning, I hear all sorts of honking and squawking. I know they have landed on roofs in the neighborhood and are talking to one another.

These two were talking to a pair across the street, and the single one (in the extra) was on the house next door. 

Once again, I am grateful when my blip comes honking at my door!
