Today was a girlie day out as I had to take them up to Southwark Cathedral. The All Saints choir (both girls and boys) were singing evensong.
We drove up and found one of the many old pubs to have lunch in. It over looked the market and while we waited (
and waited and waited) for our lunch we people watched.
Then a two minute walk over to the choir rehearsal room where I left my two munchkins.
Mum came up and we went to a little cake shop and had a catch up and a sneaky piece of Victoria sponge.
We came back and got our seats for the evensong.
The noise the combined choirs make is absolutely heavenly.
They make us choir mums very proud.
Dad snuck in part way through and after the service had finished I drove everybody to a pizza express close to where mum and dad live.
Drove home in the wet and dark, not my favourite weather to drive in. Large had to talk to me all the way home to keep me awake.
