Aetin Waar

It's been a fine enough day, and some good sunny spells, but showers have come in this evening.

It was a late night last night, but had a great time at Norwick Up Helly Aa, and slept well this morning.  Finally got going, and after breakfast, we all headed to Julie's for a cuppa and chat, and said our goodbyes for this trip up to Unst.  Caught both ferries, and made it home safely.  I had a couple of visitors, Cathy and then Peter pop by this evening, and then off to cover a shift in the pub later.

We left Julie's but Brian got the times wrong for the first ferry, so we had an hour to look about before leaving.  We popped to Muness Castle, but too wet for a visit, as a shower came over, so we went down the Westing road for a look.  At the end of the road, I spotted some sheep on the beach.  Loads of them happily munching the tang and waar (seaweed), they seem to love it.  This also gives the mutton a great taste too :)  Taken at Beach of Newgarth, Westing, Unst.
