Thank you KangaZu for giving me food for thought with the F word challenge. Betula utilis or Silver Birch Snow Queen has fabulous fresh bark. In spring frequently  fluttering flakes of fading flimsy bark, fall and fertilise flowers found festooned on the floor. Phew I'm fresh out of "F's".
