Karl Marx and his yellow ducky

I was at an event that was part of Aye Write. It was by a cartoonist who was showing ways to use cartoons to stimulate literacy. I work with many children with little English, so had hoped to pick up some new techniques on how using visuals can aid expression and understanding (and fun).
It wasn't what I'd hoped for. It focussed on drawing skills (which I absolutely do not have) instead of visual ideas. Still, there were a few useful ideas.
Here you see the cartoonist responding to an audience suggestion of Karl Marx in a bath talking to a rubber duck. Of course it is.
