Bumps and Bruises.

Not being a fan of football I thought I'd escaped saturday morning matches when my son wasn't interested, only to find my daughter taking up training last year, although that was more to do with the coach being her old nursery school teacher. She didn't join the team then, but she's joined with her friend for this season. Even though they're only 9 years old they're in the under 11s, not enough girls are playing in the region for an under 10s league this year. Their first match today was a friendly, which they enjoyed but lost. Walking back to the car we were talking about how many injuries the other team had when she falls in the playground,and now has huge great bruise coming up on her knee.
She was trying to get Eddie to sit on the bench with her, but he was having none of it, bad boy.
