The last of the wreck

The local boatyard seems to have taken on disposing of wrecks for the canal authorities.

There have been various old fishing boats lurking around the canal for the last couple of years - probably over-ambitious diy projects that the owners couldn't afford to moor or rebuild in the end.

They started chopping up this old fishing boat around a month ago and this morning it was little more than a shallow dish of metal floating on the canal. It's now out and in two halves to presumably be sold as scrap at some point.
