MISS DRAGONFLY

Our koi pond has one dragonfly that is active from July until October. It has been impossible to get a shot before today.

It is a female Southern Hawker (Aechna cyanea). In Norway we just call it Blue-green dragonfly, but it is only the male that has blue spots.

Would you believe that today we have 35 degrees in the sun! Summer day 1 september! Lovely!
