New wetlands

No sooner had I taken a few steps up the hill we live on than the light rain turned into a serious downpour. Dismissing the thought that I ought to go back for my wellingtons, I carried on towards my friends' home where their cat needed to be fed. There was no sign of Pepper when I arrived at his house and no sign of the rain letting up either after I'd replenished his food supply. This picture shows the growing wetness of the fields on the way home. Just as I approached the house the rain eased up. Something tells me I didn't time my walk quite right.
