The New and the Old

For Tiny Tuesday, the left hand photo are the new leaves forming on the Wisteria, and the right hand are just some of the berries left on the Cottoneaster horizontalis, that the birds haven't eaten. Neither bits of plant material are bigger than my thumb nail!!
I have just purchased an extension tube for the camera, and so this is the first photos. Any suggestions on how to work them properly, would be gratefully received.
