Just the one

On a large camellia in a tub near our house there is just one flower out while others are still tight buds. The same thing happened last year. It looks so lonely.
We had a free lunch today! The Duke of Wellington pub in East Horsley has been refurbished and for the first few weeks after opening they are offering two courses free as an introductory offer! We saved more than £120 for four of us and it was a very good meal, The place looks very smart now, and I think we'll be back - which was the whole point of the offer I suppose!
