Daffodils and Crocuses

Spring is on the way. This afternoon Marylee suggested that we go to a small park nearby and look for daffodils. There were indeed many, plus violet crocuses (mostly past their peak), and a very few orange crocuses, which I don't recall ever seeing (Marylee has :)  Plus crimson primroses, which didn't really fit.  The park is called the Square de la Montgolfière, (see the map) commemorating the first hot air balloon (called a mongolfière in French); it was launched in 1783 just a couple of blocks away at the Place Verlaine. It's a very prettily landscaped park, on a slope, with a small play area on the top level.
