It's Grim Up North

Next to the village hall in a neighbouring village is a pond. Pre 1700s most of the lowland on the edge of Morecambe Bay was peat bog and small pockets of this remain. This is typical of the remaining ponds and peat mosses. I go to pilates in the village hall, so hope to record the development of the pond over the year.
Another pond image in extras, plus happy dog returning from finding dead deer on today's dog walk.
This was followed by a good afternoon out with Fastaperture, here's to more shared afternoons in 2017. Final extra is a at Sizergh Castle, where we met. (We met in the tearoom not in the green house.)
