Lopsided

Had a good night's sleep and then put the world to rights with my sister before we packed up and left the hotel. We went down the road to the National Trust property Charlecote Park for a walk and look round. The fallow deer were very tame and came in all kinds of colours - dark, spotted and white.

The grounds were very pretty and we wandered around for a couple of hours before succumbing to a drink and a National Trust scone.

Some of the deer had very impressive antlers. I liked this one who was keeping a very close eye on us as we walked past.

Back to the hotel to pick up my car, a sad goodbye and then we headed our separate ways, one North and one South, along the M40.

Good journey home and back in time to catch up with husband and son number one on how their weekends had been.
