Snow

We have had a plan to walk down the Braid Burn from its source in the Pentlands to the sea at Portobello. Last year we walked the 2 burns that make up the source and today we went from Colinton to Portobello. We took the bus up, and set off downstream; there isn’t a path all the way but you can stick pretty close. We thought we might have a picnic as it was sunny early on, but ended up stopping at the Hermitage of Braid Visitor Centre as the snow fell. The blip is of the centre in the snow, and the extra, the burn. (at this point called the Figgate), going into the sea at Portobello.
