Northern Shoveler Pair

As predicted the clouds gave way to blue sky today.
After "chores" I jumped on my mountain bike for a quick getaway ride to the wetlands.
I was rewarded with a pair of Northern Shoveler Ducks "dabbling" in shallow water near the shore.
The bills they own, and how they use them, is how they became known as shovelers..
