Feed the Birds

Much fun was being had by local guys feeding the gulls from the boat that took us back from our trip to Elephanta Island.

On the island we climbed many steps to visit a deconsecrated Hindu temple hewn out of rocks.We had an excellent local guide with us who provided so much information.

We then went to see the Tiffen carriers, also called lunch box whallahs. Amazing! I want to find out more about this delivery service before I write about them.

A visit to a fruit, veg and domestic pet market was the least favourite part of the day. I dont like markets!

We move on tomorrow. I will be quite glad to leave the city...very hot and so busy!
