Cadair Idris

Our local mountains look more impressive than ever at the moment, with snow on them. We never tire of admiring them and especially the one we see from our house: Cadair Idris, which means Idris's Chair. Idris is a giant in Welsh folklore. If you spend the night on the summit, the saying goes that one of three things will happen to you: you'll become a poet or go mad or die. No, we haven't put it to the test.
