Down on the Beach

A warm sunny day - the best so far this year.

In fact it was nice enough to go without coat this morning when I went to meet the girls for coffee.   Lovely sitting in the sun and it was quite busy.

I went to Bowling this afternoon, but opted not to bowl along with one of the other Members, who has developed a swollen knee, so she brought her knitting, a lovely pink baby's cardigan and I wandered off to the Promenade to see what was going on.

I spotted these horse riding along the beach and followed, they had come to a stop outside one of the bars (on the dark side!) for a drink.   The guy in the red top was with the Mules pulling the carriage in the extras.

The other extra is the old boys playing patanc.   It was such a beautiful early evening.

Then back to Bowls to watch the end of the matches.
