Salon d'Agriculture--Paris

Marylee and I visited Paris's huge annual agricultural trade fair today. It lasts nine days, and is a very big deal.  For one thing, every one of the half-dozen candidates in this spring's presidential elections have visited, most spending several hours. We spent most of our time in the largest of eight pavilions, which includes cattle (bulls, cows etc.),  sheep, goats, and pigs; I would guess that it could hold at least four football fields. The main image shows a Blonde d'Aquitaine bull; his weight was posted at 1,434 kilos (3,161 pounds).  The extra is a view of the sheep judging ring, not far away.  My only previous visit to the Salon d'Agriculture was five years ago in 2012,when I posted a not dissimilar blip.
