Enraptured By Raptors

It was dustbin daddy day in Dengie and I dodged recycling receptacles blown into the road by Ewan's winds on the way to my sister's in Burnham-on-Crouch.

We took Ollie dog for a bracing walk on the marshes. Lovely to hear the skylarks. My sister is getting very good at spotting birds for me. We saw a marsh harrier first, unfortunately my camera card caused an error and I lost those shots. :( My pic is of a kestrel and later on we saw a short-eared owl. I hope the newly erected owl box by the road gets residents.

Today's poem is Her Anxiety by WB Yeats. https://seldomdaily.wordpress.com/2011/07/08/25/

I think it's about a woman in love with love who doesn't want to acknowledge that love can change like the seasons.
