Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal

To mark the launch of the Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal, thousands of handmade daffodils have been installed in Paternoster Square behind St Paul's Cathedral.

The Garden of Light contains 2,100 daffodils which represent the 2,100 nurses that work with those terminally ill with cancer.

I loved the expressions on these two.

I'm driving to Cornwall tomorrow to see my sister and family. I've never done the journey on my own before so it will be another tick in the box.
