Posh Shopping

This is one of the 'streets' in the Victorian Quarter Arcades in Leeds.  I went in to Leeds early morning to sort our return tickets for our Hebridean Way adventure but they were not available so I had a long lunch in Pret a Manger and then thought I would take a look around the Art Gallery as it started to rain.  Just my luck, the gallery was closed for refurbishment so I walked through the arcades on my way back to the train station.  The tickets are still not available till next Friday, aaarrgh!

The Victoria Quarter was built in 1900 for posh Victorian shopping, but fell into disrepair over the years and was renovated in more recent times.  It's a stunning building but I can't say I've ever bought anything here!
