A glimpse...

...into another time.  In 1851, Werner Trimborn purchased 500 acres of land in what is now part of the city of Greenfield. He built a home for his family there, and over the next 7 years gradually added more out buildings as he expanded his business, which he ran from his property. This limestone barn was built in 1858. I really liked it's old window with it's 12 panes of glass, & I liked even more the fact that when it's looked through, you can see the bricks that line the inner walls of the barn, the old equipment piled on the window ledge, & can see right out the side window to the other side. It's now an historical site known as "Trimborn Farm".
Even though the sun's out and it looks beautifully warm, it's not. As you can see in my extra, there are still icicles hanging around, as it's only 21 degrees (F)!  Happy Friday, and hope you all have a great weekend!
