Psychology Photo Journal #11

What is going on in the photo?
This is a photo of younger me. This photo was taken by me on 3/3/17 in my house at 11:02 PM. (21)
How is it related to a specific concept of Psychology?
This picture is to the Developmental aspect of Psychology. Developmental Psychology is the study of how and why human beings change over the course of their lives. Over the course of everyone's lives, their appearance changes, along with their personality. Infants tend to put items in their mouths to learn how things react; this is called the sensorimotor stage. In the  preoperational stage (toddlers through age seven), children are able to think about things symbolically. In concrete operational (age seven to 11), they demonstrate logical thinking. During the final stage called formal operational (ages 11+), they are capable of abstract thought.
