Mossy

Round the corner from my house in Dallington,Northampton is a row of Almshouses, built in 1673 by Sir Richard Raynsford as housing for needy villagers who pay a small contribution in exchange for living in one of these lovely listed homes.

They are still used for their original purpose.

The best thing about them (I think) are these marvellous mossy walls, getting on for 350 years old.
