Stand Off

Sunshine and showers all day, but risked a drive to Loch of the Lowes, via Loch Clunie (see Extra).  These two male swans seemed to be ignoring each other at first, but then one got too close and the posturing began:-)
Fortunately, they both got tired after a bit and swam off in opposite directions so no harm was done.

Lots of birds on the feeders, including finches, siskins, great tits and the woodpecker (see Extra), but no show by the red squirrels which is what I'd been hoping to see.  Another time.
