Fasnacht

(Or carnival) starts at 4 am Monday morning. It is a shame I cant post videos, as one of the local 'cliques' (bands) was rehearsing along my street earlier this afternoon. M. and I had a great view from my front balcony as the cortège bought the main street and trams to a halt.
The masks above are some of the traditional costumes which I spied at the market hall fleamarket today.
