Rip it up and start again.

Been working on something for a few days, but today decided
to start from scratch, it just wasn't right, and everything I did to it
made it more complicated, not better.

I spoke to a close friend about it, and we wondered whether it was a good metaphor for life, that sometimes you invest so much into something, you just can't rip it up and start again.
