Wilted

The daffs that I picked at the allotment last week are still going strong but the white narcissi don't have the same staying power. So they've just been consigned to the compost recycling and they can maybe do their part in making next year's a bit stronger!

Another uninspiring outing at the golf this morning I'm afraid, getting to be something of a habit. There must have been some amount of rain overnight because the place was like a swamp. Wasn't much fun in the mud, so we sploshed off at the ninth. When I'm playing three times a week that's no big deal!
