Cormorant Courtship

I had a spare afternoon so spent it at a very wet and dark RSPB Old Moor as I have been missing taking wildlife blips and as the cormorant shows things begin to spice up at this time of year. It was pouring of rain and as much as she tried to gain the attention of passing males none were in the mood, well it was cold and miserable.
I was delighted to also see more waxwing and I stayed on at the reserve and got even wetter to watch a fine starling murmuration, see extra.
