Summer at Meadow Hut

Today 35 members of the walking group headed to the Snow Farm, and we walked from the Base building down the ski trail to Meadow Hut, where we had our lunch.  (4 or 5 k's)  Mary Lee from the Snow Farm told us about the beginnings of both the Snow Farm and Cardrona Ski Field.  We enjoyed learning about the area, as well as the various plants that grow there.  We went to a local hotel for hot/cold drinks, and a chat after the walk.  Another very successful walk up in the mountains.
