Lake District Honeymoon day one.

We started our first day as husband and wife at a local hotel. We then made our way to our honeymoon apartment. The past few days have been full of happy tears and walking into our apartment I was sobbing again. It's unbelievably beautiful. We have direct views of the lake! There were chocolates and flowers waiting for us too. I simply cannot stop smiling. We had a lovely first night here opening all our wedding cards. We didn't expect so many lovely messages and gifts, it was another unexpected joy! Weather man is kind enough to predict sunshine for tomorrow so we will probably put our boots on and do the compulsory thing when in the Lakes - walk walk walk and soak up the fresh air and breathtaking scenery.
