Castle Glensanda

An early start in the rain but by the afternoon it cleared up. Lots of work photos taken but not many that would be interesting for blip as I didn't have much time on site. The building is the Glensanda Castle which is a 15th century castle and a stronghold of the McLeans of Gairloch. It is not far by sea from Duart castle which was also controlled by the McLeans. It was abandoned around 1780 and is now just a shell.

Posting early as we are off out  now to a leaving dinner at the horrible CB hotel. Lets hope it's not as bad as I always find it to be.
