Respite

She had been on a sleepover at a pals and got to bed at 3am.

He had played two games of football consecutively.

I had completed the great home office clear out, filling six bin bags with old paperwork, taking two boxes of books to the charity shop and finishing off with a deep clean.

Their big sister was off on a sleepover of her own.

So, me and Mrs Smith decided everyone needed a bit of fresh air and some refreshment and started to head off to the Trad on The Tyne event. We made it about a hundred yards before plonking ourselves outside the local, which is where we stayed for the next hour or so ( apart from Eve who kept bolting off every time a wasp came within distance).
