Spring is in the air.

What is rather puzzling is that this cob, known as the Park Bully, has a long term mate  on another pond - an hour after I took these shots I saw him with his mate building a nest on the little island where they hatch their young every year. This is not the first time we have seen him come down to make advances to his mistress. I always believed that mute swans were monogamous.
