Old gig tickets - Reader, Gregson & Hewerdine

So, it was a mere 24 years ago today I saw this great trio play at QEH. I hadn't seen Clive Gregson since he was in Any Trouble in the 80s, and this was a reminder of just what a top songwriter he is. May be wrong but think this was the night I first heard his "Fred Astaire ", which remains an absolute masterpiece.

Boo Hewardine was a revelation as I'd not really appreciated his songsmithing until this night.

But as usual Eddi Reader stole the show and sang like a very dream. Nobody to touch her.
