The Edinburgh Quartet

The lunchtime concert at Nicolson Square was given by the Edinburgh Quartet, with a programme beginning with two new works by young composers, the first a String Quartet in E minor by Andrew Carvel and Glass - for string quartet by Andrew Blair.
After a short break the Quartet played Haydn's String Quartet in F Op. 77, No 2, written in 1799 this was the last quartet he completed.
