Montagu Bridge
On my way through Dalkeith Park to see the millions of wild snowdrops I realised that Montagu Bridge might qualify to BobsbBlip’s challenge of 'M' for today.  The bridge which was designed by Robert Adam was built in 1792 to commemorate the wedding between the Montagu and Queensberry families. Originally there were life size sculptures of stags on top but they were removed as they frightened the horses pulling the coaches to Dalkeith Palace.
The extra shows the other side of the bridge in the sun.
