On Humphrey Head

Today we went to Kent's Bank. F had been there with friends when he was a teenager and walked to Humphrey Head.
We set off but the path became too boggy to walk on. It had been firm sand all those years ago but is now a plant covered bog. We had good views of a little egret and a blackcap as we walked.
We drove further along to another spot where we were able to access the path and had a beautiful but very windy walk on the top of the peninsula to the point. While we were up there we saw a pair of peregrine falcons flying, swooping and diving which was beautiful to watch. They must have been displaying to each other.

F was pleased to redo his walk after so many years.
