Out of Africa

They look like trees (maybe at a stretch) but in actual fact they are seed heads from along the fence line - I set out with this in mind and its worked I think, although a herd of elephants would have been good, haha..  I chose a texture off the internet to complete the picture.

Its been hot today, and we chose today to cart pea straw - 80 bales in three trailer loads from a nearby farmer to our garden.  We were pooped!!  Its not laid yet, that's for another day or more.  Pea straw here in NZ is very popular as a weed depressant, its great for the the soil as it mulches down over time.
