Smoke over the Hills!

The sky turns very dark when the High Moor Heather is set on fire at this time of the year.
This is to stimulate the Growth of new shoots which will feed this season's Grouse Chicks.
I  quite agree with that, but not the fact that they will be used by some rich moron for target practice when they are adults.
