GLEN ETIVE PIER NO MORE

We headed up to Glen Etive this morning to get some pictures of the old wooden pier that I knew from previous visits, is very photogenic. Unfortunately, it has been replaced with this rusty floating jetty which was installed in order to extract logs by boat out to the west coast. However, I thought I would photograph it nonetheless at it tells the story.
